I loved my job and I loved my team of estheticians but in the end I wanted the freedom to be able to perform the services that my clients needed. With that freedom, it is also liberating to be able to try new products and ingredients. New skincare services, wax products, tools and materials. The choice was clear that it was now or never that I would have to set out on my own. Having been in the beauty industry for a decade and a half now has also given me a good set of "street smarts" when it comes to seeing what others have done before me. What works and what doesn't. When to stick with something and when to let go. Now its time to put my money where my mouth is and get started.
