Month 2.... What to do with my fledgling business and where do I go from here
by Dani Parker, No one could expect that we would have not one but 2 of the coldest days here on record, so those days were a wash. That was ok though, I now had the ability to stay home with my kids since they had school canceled. No panicking if I were going to get in trouble at work because I couldn't secure child care. With the success of my first 3 weeks, I was able to have piece of mind that my children were safe and we would be ok if I wasn't working. The extra time has provided the opportunity to invest time in my business's voice. Who is my business for? Who do I market to? What makes my business special among all the rest. I decided very early on, that it was me. Focus on my people like I always have and stay true to me. In this time I also wrote my business's mission statement: Maintain, restore and help give confidence in every way possible to whomever walks through my door. This seems like a very powerfu...
